I went to the gathering here at Robson Ranch when Hillwood executives came to let us know what all was going on next door. Things have come a long way since that day about 10 months ago.
Why would a builder have rentals, townhomes, condos, small, medium and large homes all in one community? 1)building on a scale this large, brings costs down; 2)not everyone is ready to buy; the new Landmark Community will have rentals.
Will Landmark have active adult contingent?
The short answer is NO. They will have active adults who buy there, of course, but there will be no age-restricted areas. According to their management, active adult makes up 15%-20% of the buying market. They are marketing to the rest of the population: the other 80%-85% who will be renting or buying.
