18 laps around the perimeter indoors = 1 mile. I feel fortunate to have first hand knowledge of someone I know actually moving in and living here. You cannot always trust published testimonials I suppose, but when you hear it from a friend you know and trust, it means a lot.
This is an Independent Living Community that offers lots of extras. Included in your monthly rental rate is very similar to what is offered at all of the other communities for seniors. Those things include:

- washer/dryer
- utilities
- emergency response system
- transportation
- weekly light housekeeping
- weekly bed linen service
Care Packages...
Kind Hearts Home Care offers packages starting at $700/mo. This includes shower and dressing assistance 3 times per week. A middle package for $1,920/mo that includes more visits, some meal delivery and some medication reminders. Then there is a premium package that includes daily visits, cleaning, blood pressure checks and medication reminders. This company also has a medication assistance only fee that ranges from $200-$600/mo.

- Medication Reminders-$300-$650/mo
Both of the above services are separately charged from Five Star. These are two independent firms who are allowed to operate within Five Star Senior Community.
When I was touring this place, a group of ladies was in the bistro area and they all had their phones/ipads out. I asked them what they were doing and they said it’s called Tech Hour. Any problems they are having with technology, they can hopefully get it solved during this time!!
